Ramadan The True Taste Of Iman
By MuslimBrother1 ( From Sunniforum , and RamadanTips from  Youtube.
Often, during Ramadhaan  the Ummah begins to wake up a little but when fasting is over it goes back into its nutshell waiting for the next year. But, Alhamdullilah many of us are not like that. When Ramadhaan comes we are usually involved in more Ibada and acts of worship as well as listening to benifical lectures and reading some great books. Then when Ramadhaan goes we begin to prpare ourselves for the next Ramadhaan and are really buzzing with Iman for the rest of the year. Thats the effect that Ramadhaan has on us. May Allah not let us be like the first type of peole I have mentioned. Ameen.
As the year progresses we begin to "Slack Off" a little bit. We are involved in less acts of Ibada and more Haraam but we are stilling praying 5 times salah. But then in the 10th month we feel like we need a battery charger. Then we realise .....
Ramadhaan is only around the corner!!. We start to prepare and get ready and again we get involved with more acts of Ibadaa.Ever though abaout it. Its not Ramadhaan itself that  Imaan boost on us but rather the months before because in those months we a eagerly anticipating this greta month and start off you Acts of  beautiful deeds.
Here is an interesting and beautiful hadith for us to ponder on:
The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), used to call on Muslims to take the initiative to do good deeds before any obstacles arise. For instance, he said, "Lose no time to do good deeds before you are caught up by one of seven calamities awaiting you: a starvation which may impair your wisdom; a prosperity which may mislead you; an ailment which may damage your health; an old age which may harm your senses; a sudden death; the Dajjal (Antichrist); or Doomsday, which is indeed the hardest and most bitter." (At-Tirmidhi, al-Baihaqi)
